You can't help yourself. You have to stop me, have to get up and go to that door.
If I keep talking, if I keep tearing each word out of my heart and hand it over to you - you might have to do the same.
And God hasn't given you that kind of strength yet.
Olivia watches Natalia move, quick and easy steps along the living room floor. And she knows another chance is forfeited.
Her terror mixes with Natalia's denial and makes a dangerous cocktail.
Olivia has gotten drunk off this lie.
And she watches Natalia move, sure and confident over a pool table. And she knows that all hope is now lost.
Her longing mingles with Natalia's affection and makes a deadly relationship.
Olivia is going to die of this stunted intimacy.
You can't stop yourself. You have to run from me, into Frank's arms and into those brittle pages.
If you don't stop yourself, if you don't flee the scene of our crime - I might finally have all of you.
And God hasn't given you permission for this kind of love.
Olivia watches Natalia move. Beautiful and scared, black wings fluttering in the breeze of a winter's day. And she knows that there is not a fighting chance for her soul.
Olivia is in love and Natalia returns it.
And that makes them an unrealized couple, pushing and pulling at that which binds them, until something snaps. And that makes them raw, wounded and tender, every sentence laced with much more than mere words.
It makes them prisoner and jailer, sinner and saint.
And Olivia will pay the price of this delicious game.
