SUMMARY: This is my first ever attempt at posting anything. I honestly don't have a clue what I'm doing, so if this really sucks and I'm doing it all wrong, just let me know. I've just had this story in my head for a while and thought I would put bits and pieces up at a time if it's worth while. This doesn't follow any storyline, however, a tiny part is taken from the mirror scene.
RATING: PG-13 I suppose....
Olivia's breath caught when she raised her head to look up at Natalia. If there were ever such a thing as angels, Olivia was certain she was looking at one this very moment. The flowing white gown they had picked out was the perfect fit. Olivia's gaze continued upward until her eyes met Natalia's. "You're beautiful." Natalia gave her one of her half smiles, looking down embarrassed, and walked to stand in front of the mirror. At that moment Olivia was sure she having another heart attack. Her heart thudded painfully in her chest, then tightened in an almost vice-like grip. Unconsciously her hand went to her chest and traced the barely visible scar there. "Oh God, Olivia, what's wrong?" Natalia said with panic in her voice as she dropped to her knees in front of her best friend. "Should I take you to the doctor?" Olivia shook her head and reached out and took the hands that were already reaching for her own. " I'm fine Natalia, it was just a moment of discomfort." Not to mention that it was the moment that her heart was breaking. But she needed to do this with Natalia. She needed to be here and support her best friend. Oh who was she kidding. Natalia stopped being her friend a while ago. Now she was more, so much more. It didn't matter though. Olivia would never do anything to make Natalia unhappy. Natalia's happiness meant everything to her. But looking at her now so very close, the pain and concern in those deep soft brown eyes was almost her undoing. With a final squeeze of her hand, Olivia stood up pulling Natalia with her. "Let's get a good look at you." Natalia turned around slowly. God help her. Olivia was sure that the image before her was going to be seared in her mind forever. Natalia walked over and stood in front of the mirror again, Olivia coming up to stand behind her. The shawl around Natalia's shoulders slid down. Olivia reached out and got each end and brought it up and wrapped it around Natalia's arms. Her hands brushed Natalia's skin. Soft, so very soft. Olivia looked up, her eyes meeting Natalia's in the mirror. There was so much she wanted to say, so much she wanted to do. But the brown eyes looking back at her, into her soul, held her captive.
